Memory Care

Memory care services are offered at Grand Oaks of Jensen Beach, as well as Grand Oaks of Palm City. Memory care provides specialized care for those suffering from brain-related illnesses such as Alzheimer’s disease or dementia. We offer a broad spectrum of services at our memory care center, dependent upon the severity of a resident’s symptoms.

We understand that memory loss affects everyone differently, so we focus on getting to know the unique needs of each resident individually. We also establish a relationship with each resident’s physicians to help ensure the proper level of care is provided, even as a resident’s needs change.

To help create a stable, consistent, and nurturing environment, our memory care residents see the same caregivers routinely and have a set schedule. Our staff members are also certified in Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders (ADRD), Level 1 and Level 2. In order to provide the safest, most secure environment for our memory care residents, our center is kept separate from our assisted living community.

All services at our memory care center are designed to help our residents improve their quality of life and reconnect to their past or present interests. If your elderly loved one is in need of specialized care for Alzheimer’s or dementia, we can help.

Respite Care

At Grand Oaks of Jensen Beach, we offer respite care for family members or caregivers who provide assistance to an elderly person in their home and who need a temporary break from their caregiving duties.

Our respite care services allow seniors to stay at our assisted living community or memory care center when their family member or caregiver leaves town or is otherwise unable to provide care for them on a short-term, temporary basis.
