Welcome to our Assisted Living! Our beautiful Marina Isle Waterfront Assisted Living Community is located on a quaint peninsula on Lake Monroe, adjacent to a 200-boat-slip marina. In addition to being located on the water, our facility is only two blocks from Downtown Sanford. As a resident of Marina Isle Assisted Living Community, you will enjoy the benefits of waterfront living, while also remaining close to a vibrant city.

Assisted Living

When it’s time to make a decision for you or your loved one to move into assisted living, at Marina Isle Assisted Living, we strive to provide support for your family, understanding that a home-like environment is extremely important.

To make our seniors comfortable in their home, we offer a wide range of amenities including laundry, housekeeping, and meals in addition to coordination of medical care, personal assistance with activities of daily living, and engaging activities to keep our residents active and thriving.

All of our rooms and common areas’ power runs on a generator to ensure that no power would be lost in the event of an outage. Residents will always have access to home amenities such as lights, heating and air conditioning, and cable/internet for a comfortable and enjoyable home experience. The outside of our facility is just as inviting, with large sunrooms that can be found on each floor, positioned directly on Lake Monroe for waterfront sunsets.

We have included the price of our rooms, meals, utilities and assistance with daily activities into one flat rate. This provides residents and family members with a semi-inclusive flat rate to help you meet your budget.

Respite care provides temporary support for your loved one, offering both short-term relief for families and caregivers. It involves a short stay at our community, available for a daily rate, catering to various needs.

Housekeeping

At Marina Isle Assisted Living Community, we do what it takes to keep our residents independent for as long as possible. Should you prefer, housekeeping is available at no charge. Housekeeping services that keep your studio comfortable and hygienic top to bottom studio cleanings weekly with daily ‘bed-making’ service and trash removal.

Laundry

At Marina Isle, our staff handles all of your laundry and linen needs, if you so choose.

Facility maintenance

All of your maintenance and safety needs are handled daily by the on-site maintenance department.

Restaurant-style dining

Our dining room is a waterfront, restaurant-style seating with menus of daily meal choices. Our kitchen staff works closely with our residents to provide heart healthy meals. If you have any specific needs or requests for your favorite meals, simply let us know and we will do our best to include it. Our Bistro offers a variety of snacks, beverages and sandwiches, available 24 hours a day at no charge for our residents.

Safety security

Your safety and security are our top priorities. Our building is equipped with a variety of features to keep you safe, including double railing in halls, pull cords in studios, monthly smoke and fire alarm checks, continually trained staff, video surveillance in common areas and outside of the building, secured gates, a sea wall, impact resistant windows and glass in the sun room, a building built to withstand winds up to 160 mph, a generator for backup power, and monitored doors 24/7.

Common areas and activities

One of the best parts about choosing to live in an assisted living community is the social aspect.

Daily activities and weekly outings provide a great opportunity for our residents to socialize and get to know one another. Common areas such as sun rooms, TV rooms and a library are available throughout the community for our residents and family members to enjoy.

Our Building

The Marina Isle Building

Our building can withstand winds up to 129 mph that is a category 3 hurricane. In the event of a power loss. Marina Isle Assisted Living Community has gone above and beyond the state requirements for a generator system.

We have two, 150 kilowatt Generac generators with natural gas piped in on a raised foundation that will provide power to over 90% of our building and emergency systems. This means in the event of a power loss, even if for days, our residents can stay in the comfort of their own room with full power or move about the community at Marina Isle Assisted Living Community.

Our kitchen and dining room are also able to operate under generator power which means our residents will be able to have hot and fresh meals. All emergency systems such as elevators, fire doors and fire alarms are also under generator power which means our residents will be kept completely safe.

Whether you prefer the calm freshwater ambiance of Lake Monroe or the thrilling saltwater environment of Ponce Inlet, we provide everything needed for a fruitful day on the water. Our tours come fully equipped with bait, tackle, and poles, making them suitable for both novice and experienced anglers alike.

Our boating excursions are conducted on a spacious 10-12 passenger pontoon boat, ensuring a comfortable and secure experience for our residents and their families.
