Independent Living

Enjoy life without the stress of handling daily household chores. Start a new hobby, live an active lifestyle and have the freedom to choose your daily experience. We believe that it’s important to keep our residents stimulated both physically and mentally. Our caregivers encourage residents to take walks around the facility and encourage them to try watching new shows and movies, call friends and relatives, and socialize with other residents whenever possible.

Assisted Living

Perfect for seniors who need some assistance but want to remain independent. Social engagement and daily activities are highly encouraged. Staff is available to assist with personal care, medication management, dietary, and other wellness needs. A customized care plan based on your needs will be in place after a personal evaluation by our facility administrator and a report from your physician. We will monitor you for the first month, then re-evaluate your plan for accuracy.

Respite/Short Term Stay

Experience life at The Chalet, Montara before permanently moving in, or if you’re being discharged from a nursing care facility or hospital and you’re not quite ready to go back home, our “Respite Program” is the right fit for you. You’ll enjoy all the services and care that our residents are receiving— everything from chef-prepared meals, weekly housekeeping and laundry services, daily activities and more during your stay. Our Respite Program gives you the opportunity to try us out and decide if we are the right fit for your long-term care needs.

Companion Suites

Our companion suites are the perfect solution to reduce the resident’s cost. It also encourages friendships as residents are matched according to their interests.

Our in-house exercise room makes it easy for residents to stay in shape without sacrificing their own safety or wellbeing, and with nurse call buttons in every room, you can rest ensured knowing that your loved one always has access to help at a moment’s notice.

The Smart TVs included in every resident’s room has access to apps like Netflix, Tubi, Pluto TV, as well traditional cable television, and more, so if a resident chooses not to spend time with others they can always enjoy some alone time in the comfort of their own room.
