Memory Care Assisted Living
When living at home is no longer an option for a loved one it doesn’t mean that their days at home are over – all it means is that it’s time for a different home.
Silverado’s dedication to providing for the needs of memory-impaired residents means that we are more than just assisted living. Specializing in memory care and dementia care allows us to provide for residents whose needs have grown beyond what more generalized senior living communities offer. Our philosophy is built around offering a comfortable environment staffed with skilled professionals who deliver the best care possible, enriching lives and focusing on the wellbeing of residents’ minds, spirits and bodies.
See How Silverado Enhances Quality of Life
Each community provides expert clinical care led by a Physician Medical Director (many memory care providers have only one medical director for their entire company – we have one at each community). Licensed nurses are on-site around the clock. Every Silverado associate receives training in dementia and how it affects the residents with whom they work. The communities are arranged into three neighborhoods providing different levels of care to meet the needs of residents at different stages of the disease (Nexus, Enrichment and Sensory).
Communities provide a warm, comfortable environment that features pets and often children. Independence and socializing are encouraged as ways to help residents maintain function and ability. Restaurant-quality meals, engaging activities and life-enriching outings round out the living experience at Silverado.
By providing a higher level of service with a focus on comfort and clinical care, we hope to raise the standard of quality for the entire assisted living industry. Comfort, respect and dignity are all important aspects in maintaining quality of life when living with memory impairment. This in mind, our approach to memory care facilities is not to make them like a home, but to make it a resident’s home fully and completely. Care from a skilled, compassionate staff in a warm environment forms the foundation of our mission to enrich the lives of residents and their families, making Silverado much more than just an assisted living facility.

Respite Care
Flexible and Overnight Care
Respite care can help caregivers avoid the phenomenon known as caregiver burnout by providing temporary care for loved ones in a safe, engaging environment. Being a caregiver for a loved one brings many stresses and often leads to caregiver burnout. Having the time to do things such as travel, run errands or even catch up on sleep can be vital to avoiding burnout, keeping healthy and maintaining the ability to deliver the best care.
Respite Care’s Benefits

This in turn, helps individuals remain physically and mentally active by inspiring interests and promoting new skill sets.
