The Silver Seeds Program

The Silver Seeds Program is best for:

• Seniors with mild cognitive impairment or mild to moderate memory loss
• Individuals who need more support, but do not need a secured setting

Structured activities in small, focused group sizes are developed based on the preferences and abilities of the resident. The program takes place five days a week, led by Madonna Gardens’ Resident Services Director who is trained specifically to support residents with Mild Cognitive Impairment. With resident activity and ongoing cognitive assessments, we will monitor resident improvement or change and provide frequent updates to families.

Madonna Gardens’ memory care program is designed to help residents with Alzheimer’s, dementia and other forms of memory loss overcome many of the unique challenges they face in everyday life. Madonna Gardens Memory Care is uniquely suited to care for seniors with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia in a specially designed and secured neighborhood.

Lightfinder™ Memory Care

Carefield Living’s Lightfinder™ Memory Care program was designed in collaboration with leading experts in cognitive impairment and memory loss as a personal and holistic approach to combating the effects of Alzheimer’s and other dementias. The Lightfinder™ program utilizes evidence-based techniques to stimulate the mind while addressing other complicating factors through comprehensive nutritional and physical fitness plans.

Keeping the mind engaged with a variety of stimulating activities lies at the heart of the Lightfinder™ program. Music, art, games, sensory experiences and other interactive elements are all incorporated into this comprehensive program.

A Sense of Well Being is Vital

Tranquil, scenic, and secure outdoor areas including shaded patios help residents to enjoy the outdoors. The interior environment is enhanced with familiar, comfortable furnishings. Regularly scheduled organized outings, music, games, readings, creative arts, and intergenerational activities are programmed with the interests of the resident at their core. Dining is enjoyed with thoughtful social interaction and staff who extend extra assistance at mealtime if needed. We consider the unique challenges of dining with cognitive impairment and can provide alternative meals and snacks to accommodate certain needs and limitations often associated with memory loss. Our highly trained staff is available 24/7 to aid in daily living activities such as dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting.

At Madonna Gardens, we are famous for our beautiful outdoor areas in both Memory Care and Assisted Living. Our lush lawns, seasonal floral gardens, and intimate outdoor seating areas add another dimension to the Carefield Living experience. Residents enjoy serene walking paths interspersed with comfortable benches for rest. The vegetable gardens are a favorite with the residents.

We proactively care for our residents with fitness programs, regularly scheduled care assessments, a highly qualified licensed staff and the latest protocols for safety and comfort. You can now stay well with many services in-house. We monitor your individual needs and help you to communicate with your primary care physicians and specialists keeping you at the top of your game. With professional assessments and periodic evaluations, your care will be adjusted when needed.
