Florence of Seattle provides assisted living with compassion, specializing in memory care. The majority of our clients have short-term memory loss and/or dementia, and our community is designed to support their unique needs with professional care and a welcoming atmosphere.

Our Dedicated Staff and Care

We employ 24 full-time staff members between our two facilities, including cooks, housekeepers, activities personnel, caregivers, and office staff. All staff members have completed comprehensive caregiving, dementia, and mental health training, in addition to 12 hours of annual continuing education classes.

Our team is certified for Nurse Delegation, allowing them to administer medications, creams, eye drops, and patches under the direction of our Nurse Delegators. Caregivers are awake and available 24/7 to ensure residents are clean, dry, and comfortable. For residents who are able to use them, we provide Nurse Call pendants for immediate assistance.

Personalized Services

Specific caregiving tasks include assistance with bathing, grooming, and dressing, as well as assistance with feeding if necessary. We set aside dedicated blocks of time for each resident every morning and evening to provide personalized support tailored to their individual needs.

We provide daily housekeeping and three nutritious meals per day plus snacks. Our bathing facilities include a general shower room that is heated from above, where we provide full or partial assistance as needed.
