Our program is offered mornings, afternoons, or all day, and includes a variety of health, social, and support services, provided within a protected environment. Here, participants receive the care they need to live as independently as possible. Our program also includes a wide variety of engaging and enriching daily activities including live entertainment, therapeutic activities, educational group discussions, physical and occupational therapies, bingo, arts and crafts, daily exercises, and more.

Individualized Care & Services

Each participant of Adult Day Health Services at Cascade Park Vista Assisted Living receives a personalized care plan. Created through a partnership between you, your loved one, our multidisciplinary team of caregivers, your loved one’s provider, and a case manager, this unique living document coordinates the specific care and services needed by your loved one to benefit from, grow, and thrive in our program.

• Weekly housekeeping services
• Weekly linen and laundry services (onsite laundry facilities are available for no cost)
• Maintenance services 6-7 days per week
• 3 meals daily plus healthy snack choices followed by a liberalized diet overseen by a dietician
• Scheduling doctor appointments and coordinating transportation
• Nursing and caregiver services including Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as diabetes management, medications, vital signs, dressing, showering, and mobility
• Therapy Services: Access to home health providers for PT and OT services

Our amenities were created around using our space effectively for resident interests and needs. Activities that focus on socialization, laughter, and movement occur throughout the first and second floors at the Vista.

Dinner, Movie & More

Our Gene Autrey Cinema is a popular haunt, used for movie nights and matinees plus social engagements. This space is conveniently located next to our restaurant, which features musicians, special monthly family nights, and Chef-prepared meals. We also have an expansive engagement room on the main first floor that hosts a computer lab, bistro, billiards table, and TV.

In-House Specialty Services: The Wellness Advantage

We’re changing the perception of assisted living by offering unique wrap-around services. We have seen a drastic reduction in hospitalizations and have become an aging-in-place solution by partnering with major healthcare systems. We have various medical professionals, including a cardiologist, nephrologist, eye doctor, dental hygienist, primary care doctor, and psychiatrist, who provide direct care to our residents. We also operate our own lab and have diagnostics available on-site.

Expert Care

Our expert nurses provide clinical oversight of blood sugars, insulin injections, vitamin B injections, and lab work. They consult with caregivers, provide support for caregiving needs, watch for changes in a resident’s condition, and write personalized care plans. We put care first and foremost, as one does not leave the comforts of home without a good reason to do so.

Licensed Nursing

We are committed to providing 12-16 hours of on-site licensed nursing staff each day that oversee resident care. Our Wellness Team has fostered community partnerships to bring in dental hygienists, home health agencies with a PT/OT office onsite, podiatry appointments, and nurse practitioners. We are also partnered with Optum to help those who qualify gain extra support for medical procedures and supplies.

Horticulture & Natural Healing

Studies have confirmed that nature is the best antidepressant available. We facilitate excursions to Point Defiance Park and provide opportunities for residents to engage with nature directly—whether it’s gardening, smelling old-growth cedar trees, or enjoying homegrown produce.

Visiting Animals

The love of an animal provides incredible therapies. We have lovely community dogs that visit, as well as other animal guests including goats, sheep, miniature ponies, and rabbits. Touch is vital, and the unconditional love of an animal helps foster emotional well-being.

Clinical Services

Cascade Park Vista’s personal care program was developed for residents needing assistance with activities of daily living. We can provide assistance with ambulation, dressing, grooming, toileting, bathing, medication assistance, injection administration, diabetic care, personal laundry service, and general health care monitoring.

Plan of Care

Within 14 days of move-in, our clinical staff completes a plan of care addressing health care needs, social preferences, and personal care tasks. This plan is completed in consultation with the resident, staff, and case managers. Each resident has the right to be fully informed about their negotiated service plan.

Care Plan Updates

Each resident will have their negotiated service plan reviewed at least annually and/or with a change of condition. Residents and families are encouraged to participate in this planning process.
