Spicewood Cottages: Special Care Unit for Alzheimer’s and Dementia Residents

Enjoy retirement in an intimate atmosphere. We are excited to announce that our newly renovated Elms building at Spicewood Cottages is now open as a Special Care Unit for Alzheimer’s and Dementia residents. The hallways feature hand-painted murals throughout to minimize the institutional feel and create a calming, small-home environment.

Located behind the Mountain Medical Complex in Clyde, NC, facilities at Spicewood Cottages offer a smaller, more intimate atmosphere for retirement and assisted living. The three buildings house up to 22 residents, with each building having its own living and dining rooms.

We invite you to come take a look at Spicewood Cottages as we continue to remodel these facilities inside and out. Renovations are ongoing, and new care and quality programs have been introduced under the guidance of our on-site management team. This ensures the best care possible for existing and future residents in a comfortable, clean, and safe environment.
