Sterling Court is a vibrant senior community on the San Francisco Peninsula which includes both independent and assisted living rental residences. We have a very active community with a wide range of programs and services from an ever-changing chef-created menu, to exercise classes – including Tai Chi – to road trips in our own comfortable shuttle. In addition, our friendly and professional staff create a warm and personal environment catering to all your individual needs.

Our fees are all-inclusive. One single fee covers everything from dinner and housekeeping, to maintenance and transportation, to access to over 150+ activities—and you never receive a bill with a multitude of line item costs. Living Options

Independent Living

Our Independent living community is ideal for the active adult who is seeking fewer household responsibilities and a vibrant social environment. It offers you a place where you can go about your day as you please, or take advantage of the numerous events, amenities and opportunities offered. It has a built-in network of neighbors where you can cultivate existing friendships and foster new ones. Here, you’re being supported emotionally as well as physically.

All our apartments are available on a monthly basis which makes moving in easy. Rates are guaranteed for at least one year and tenants may cancel at any time with just a 30-day notice. No purchase, buy-in, or long-term contracts are ever required. One monthly fee includes dinner every day, 50+ activities a week, weekly housekeeping and linen service, transportation, maintenance, and secure assigned underground parking. In addition, there is a very reasonable additional monthly fee for a second occupant (spouse or roommate).

And, in the future, should the need arise, you have priority access to available assisted living units.

Assisted Living

Sterling Court offers assisted living for residents who need a higher level of service and daily personal assistance. Residents enjoy their independence as well as the peace of mind that comes with knowing a friendly caregiver is ready to provide support when needed. This senior living option provides more personalized assistance but without sacrificing the full community lifestyle.

Our staff members are highly skilled, well trained, and sincerely dedicated to each person’s comfort and well-being. Here you will find the perfect balance – the independence you want and the care you need. Our assisted living team members get to know a bit more about your needs, preferences and interests so that they can provide assistance customized just for you. Assistance with bathing, dressing and grooming is provided as well as close observation and monitoring of an individual’s physical and mental status.

Each residence is a 1-bedroom apartment with an enclosed patio, partial kitchen, and emergency call system. Services include 3 nutritious delicious meals a day, an intimate café-style dining room, medication supervision, weekly housekeeping, linen and laundry services, transportation, and assistance with planned activities. There is a reasonable monthly fee for a second occupant (spouse or roommate) for our assisted living residents.
