Memory Care

Working closely with family members, we use our expertise in memory care to design a personalized care plan for each resident to ensure as little disruption in their lives as possible. We incorporate innovative communication approaches and memory stimulation techniques tailored to each resident’s unique interests and hobbies. We create an atmosphere of achievement in which each resident has ample opportunity to be successful and continue to grow.

The Wesleyan’s memory care services are designed by a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist in keeping with The Wesleyan’s mission to foster an abundant life for all we serve. As a certified Alzheimer’s assisted living community, our teammates are specially trained in Alzheimer’s and dementia care and continuously monitor and adapt each resident’s personalized care plan.

We are also committed to directly supporting the family members of our memory care residents and understand the challenges they face. To support family members directly, we offer an Alzheimer’s and Dementia support group that meets regularly.

Skilled Nursing

The Wesleyan’s restorative philosophy of nursing promotes each resident’s resilience and ability to live as independently as possible, in addition to recovering from specific health challenges.
