The Villas at Saratoga offers a continuum of care. Our professional, friendly staff is here to help our residents attain their highest functional ability so they can enjoy the retirement lifestyle they have been looking forward to. Providing skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and assisted living allows us to meet all of our residents’ needs. Our studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom floor plans offer a full kitchen, appliances, a smoke detector, a 24-hour emergency system, and individual climate control. Maintenance-free living never looked so good.

Wound Care

Our goal is to promote healing and prevent recurrence for each resident’s wound. We care for wounds gently and respectfully, developing a custom treatment plan fit for each individual in their unique stage. Our specialized care team will monitor each wound site for signs of infection.

Restorative Nursing Program

At The Villas of Saratoga we seek to maximize the quality of life for our long-term care population, who require a specialized restorative program. Our therapy team and nursing staff will develop individualized treatment plans for resident care in the areas of:

• Ambulation
• Range of motion
• Activities of daily living
• Positioning and alignment
• Skin integrity and wound management
• Contracture management
• Bowel and bladder training
• Rehabilitative and social dining
• Strengthening and restraint reduction
• Weekly and monthly height and weight monitoring

Dietary Program

• Provide meals to meet specific dietary and therapeutic needs, according to physician orders
• Oral supplemental diets are available

Diabetes Management

Our experienced nurses provide help with all aspects of managing diabetes including:

• Blood glucose monitoring
• Insulin administration and tracking
• Exercise planning
• Menu planning

Rehabilitation

Our rehabilitation professionals strive to provide outstanding results and excellent quality of care to each resident we serve. Our goal is to empower each resident by creating custom rehabilitation programs, in collaboration with the residents’ healthcare team, to reach goals of increased independence and ability.

Physical Therapy

Our physical therapy team works toward specific goals of achieving the resident’s highest functional level of independence. Physical therapy focuses on the identification and rehabilitation of individuals with physical impairment and pain, as well as future injury prevention. Following an evaluation, our experienced physical therapists develop an individualized treatment program. The goal is to achieve safety in a variety of areas.

Areas of treatment focus may include:

• Increase strength and mobility in the body and lower extremities
• Increase motor control for a resident who has suffered a stroke
• Improve coordination, balance, and the ability to walk following a fracture
• Improve overall strength conditioning, range of motion, and endurance
• Pain management
• Teaching proper body mechanics to prevent injury
• Promoting safety awareness for the well being of the resident

Occupational Therapy

Our professional occupational therapists use task-directed activities in the treatment of our residents whose functional abilities, daily activities, and independence have been impaired by illness, injury, or aging. Occupational therapy assists our residents in adapting to their social and physical environment by mastering tasks essential for daily living. Our occupational therapists may work with residents who have debilitating arthritic conditions or those with difficulty bathing, dressing, and other activities of daily living.

Areas of treatment may include:

• Functional independence: eating, bathing, toileting, homemaking, cooking, etc.
• Maintenance of wellness: dressing and grooming
• Prevention of further disability: home assessments and modifications, adaptive equipment
• Increasing safety awareness

Speech Therapy

Our speech therapists provide a range of interventions to assess and help restore abilities in the areas of communication, swallowing, and cognition. Treatment programs are designed to help residents affected by stroke, brain injury, dementia, and other neurological disorders.

Areas of treatment focus may include:

• Improving speech and voice clarity
• Increasing comprehension and verbal expression
• Improving chewing and swallowing ability
• Maximizing cognitive language skills: memory, problem-solving, and abstract reasoning
• Resident and family/caregiver education and training for managing ongoing difficulties with communication, cognition, and swallowing

Assisted Living

At The Villas, we want you to enjoy a care-free lifestyle that enhances your quality of life. We offer maintenance-free living so you can enjoy the amenities our community has to offer and onsite staff to provide activities of daily living as they are needed.

Social Services

Our social service team assists both residents and their loved ones during transitional periods to aid with communication and understanding. We also provide essential information, manage requests and concerns, and assist in the care planning and discharge planning for each resident we serve.

Our Facility

The Villas at Saratoga (Formerly known as Our Lady of Fatima), is a Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living Facility. Our facility is open and staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our team has decades of experience successfully managing top-tier facilities. The unity and compassion they bring to their care make the experience special to our residents.

Our Skilled Nursing Facility has 4 separate units, with both private and shared rooms, (no more than 2 per room) with a total of 85 beds. Each room has its own bathroom, TV (two TVs if a shared room), closet, and landline phone. We offer plenty of extra visiting areas located in our courtyard, sun rooms, and common areas.

Our Assisted Living Facility is 3 levels, with studio style or single bedrooms, with a total of 37 apartments. All apartments have a full bathroom, kitchenette with fridge, sink, and microwave, and plenty of storage.

Amenities

Enjoy being pampered in our beauty salon, or tone up in one of our exercise classes. From shopping trips to book clubs, we aim to please!

• You may reserve the activities lounge for any special events (birthdays, holidays, meals) with notice.
• We would love for your family pet to visit. Please remember to clean up after them and take the proper safety measures at all times. All pets are to be kept on a leash and should have all current vaccinations.
• For the safety and welfare of all residents and staff, we are a non-smoking facility. There are designated smoking areas in outdoor areas.
• There is ample parking in the parking lot with wheelchair access, there is also street parking.
• Yes, we have beauticians available.
• All of the rooms currently feature free cable television.
• All of the rooms currently feature a telephone hookup.
• WiFi Internet is provided for residents and their guests.
