The Orchards Assisted Living is a family-owned, privately run assisted living community located in Ocean County, New Jersey. As a resident at The Orchards Assisted Living, a 71-bed facility with 22 beds dedicated to memory care, your level of assistance is customized to match exactly what you need. From meals to housekeeping to wellness visits, you can live a worry-free life with the security and comfort of a qualified, friendly support team. Assisted living is often the right alternative for people who still want to live on their own, but need some help with daily tasks that aren’t medically related. The Orchards Assisted Living, where you can live at your own pace, in your own space with amenities, activities, and an experienced care team available when you need them.

A transition from hospital to home can be overwhelming. For many, recovery can be daunting because they live alone. We’ll help you transition home safely—with care, comfort, and confidence.

Memory Care

The Orchards Assisted Living is excited to unveil their newly renovated memory care unit opened May 2019. The renovations incorporate more open and quiet space for residents. Services will now be expanded to include subacute services for residents with memory care needs. The beautifully renovated memory care unit will continue to provide care services that are part of the full continuum of care on the Orchards Assisted Living.

These renovations are part of The Orchard’s commitment to providing memory care services in a safe and secure environment that reflects the Orchards expertise with a focus on the needs of residents with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia. Orchards requires every team member to complete the CARES Dementia Training Program, which equips them with the knowledge and skills to meet the unique needs of residents with dementia and other memory-related disorders.

Respite Care

Respite Care, also known as short-term care, offers a solution for when you or a loved one needs temporary support and recovery from a medical procedure. At The Orchards Assisted Living you will be in a safe, comfortable environment while accessing care and other quality services you can enjoy. This gives you the necessary time and services to heal after an injury or surgery and ease back into your life safely and effectively. Or, if you need respite care for a loved one – so you, as caregiver, can get a much-needed break – then count on The Orchards Assisted Living to be there in your time of need.

Hospice Care

Palliative and hospice care at The Orchards Assisted Living goes well beyond creating physical ease for your family member or loved one; it also includes emotional and psychosocial care. Serious illness, which can often progress to terminal illness, is addressed to preserve dignity, extend comfort, and provide peace during a chronic illness or in the final stages of life. Our palliative and hospice caregivers offer comfort and support not only to your loved one but also to family members and friends.
