At The Lakewood Courtyard, our assisted living program focuses on the residents as individuals, giving them the opportunity to enjoy their daily lives independently while they receive top quality care and assistance. We believe that the need for assistance as one ages does not mean having to give up one’s independence; we aim for excellence by ensuring that each one of our residents enjoy an independent lifestyle that is supported by trained staff and health care services.

Our personal care staff provides assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including dressing, bathing, and morning and evening care as needed. We place a strong emphasis on maintaining our residents’ dignity and self-respect.

Personal care services are offered on-demand in accordance with each resident’s individualized wellness plan. Our nursing team oversees each resident’s medication management program to ensure that medications are taken as prescribed by their physician. Residents can also be visited by third-party medical specialists to get the ongoing care they need.
