About Us
The Homes of Ethnos360 is a private retirement facility for retired Ethnos360 members. We are a community of shared experiences in serving God through endeavors to establish mature churches among unreached people groups in remote areas of the world.
The staff, consisting of fellow missionaries, is committed to the care and comfort of our residents. We trust God to provide adequate and comfortable housing at a time when our retiring missionaries need it most. We desire to help make our missionaries’ life at The Homes of Ethnos360 an enjoyable experience filled with many blessings and new adventures.
Housing Options
The Homes of Ethnos360 provides three distinct levels of care for retired Ethnos360 missionaries – independent living in one or two-bedroom duplex apartments, independent living in single rooms in the Latham Center, and assisted living (also single room) in the same building.
Duplex Apartments
The one and two bedroom apartments on the property are surrounded by manicured landscape and located near several small lakes. The apartments each have a full kitchen, dining and living rooms, full bath, in-home laundry, carport, and screened-in porch. House maintenance and lawn maintenance are included in the affordable monthly maintenance fee.
Latham Center
The Latham Center contains 26 studio apartments, 2 one-bedroom staff apartments, 6 staff offices, 2 nursing offices, 2 classrooms, 2 laundry rooms, a receptionist area, conference room, library, chapel, prayer room, dining room, commercial kitchen, serving kitchen, beautician room, exercise room, and 2 large lobbies.
Each studio apartment in the Latham Center has a large bedroom with a private bathroom and a walk-in closet. Residents living in those rooms share a common living room and dining room. The following services are offered to them:
- Dining
- Housekeeping
- Social and leisure activities
- Transportation
The Latham Center is available for retired Ethnos360 missionaries who may need some supervision or assistance with taking medications, ambulation, dressing, eating, toileting, bathing, and grooming. (Full nursing home care is not an option.)
Activities
The Homes of Ethnos360 retirement community is located in the heart of Central Florida close to beaches, state parks, walking and bicycling trails, as well as Orlando’s theme parks. The Veterans Affairs Medical Center is also in the area and many health care facilities.
Sanford boasts many attractions as well. Steamboat dinner cruises, a health club, botanical gardens, a zoological park, museums, a state preserve, many shopping venues, antiques stores, fresh produce markets, a performing arts center, and a historic baseball stadium – home to the River Rats baseball club.
The Homes of Ethnos360 is surrounded by trees, lush landscaping and ponds, and is frequented by a variety of native Florida birds and animals. Residents enjoy walking or biking our grounds with over a mile of paved road as a source of regular exercise.
Activities within The Homes community abound… horseshoes, shuffleboard, billiards, regular morning chapel times, movie nights, potlucks, puzzle time and table games, Bible studies, prayer meetings, a weekly evening fellowship, special holiday events, and the annual “Country Fair.”
Many retirees of The Homes continue to be involved in ministry. Involvement in community outreach is common – whether at the local jail, nursing home, local churches or online. Several retirees volunteer their time by helping out with projects on this property or at our mission headquarters two miles away. Still others are continuing to assist the Ethnos360 teams that are overseas – serving as translation checkers and consultants – seeing that God’s Word is proclaimed to the nations!
