The Bridgewater assisted living residence, located on the campus of Waterman Village, has established itself as the premier assisted living residence in the Mount Dora, Eustis, Tavares, Leesburg, and Sorrento, Florida areas. The Bridgewater is located on the campus of Waterman Village, Central Florida’s most complete and comprehensive retirement community campus. Waterman Village was founded in 1989 by Waterman Hospital Tavares, FL, a local not-for-profit organization.

Amenities

Just outside the Bridgewater assisted living facility, you’ll find spacious grounds with shaded walking trails close by where you can take your family member or friend out for a nice stroll. The Bridgewater’s interior and exterior were recently renovated. The Bridgewater has only two stories, which is very important for life-safety code and evacuation operations if ever necessary or required. Recently, a brand new heavy-duty commercial generator was purchased for the Bridgewater. There are two full-service dental offices by our staffed/gated entry and a physician’s clinic nearby, making life much easier for Bridgewater residents and their family members.

Staffing & On-Site Care

Many of our Bridgewater staff have been with us for many years. We have a visiting medical doctor, nurse practitioner, podiatrist, and psychologist, so residents can easily receive these services when and if needed.

Outpatient Therapy

It’s not uncommon that your loved one will need physical, occupational, or speech therapy at some point during their stay at the Bridgewater assisted living facility. The great news is, Bridgewater residents can utilize our extensive group of ‘on-site’ therapy professionals, through the Waterman Village Outpatient Therapy Clinic, which has a clinic right inside The Bridgewater. This makes life much easier for family members and can often lead to better therapy outcomes for our residents.

Home Health Care

Bridgewater residents also have easy access to Waterman Village’s full-service in-home health care agency, that is ideally located right on the campus. There are many advantages of using Waterman Village Home Care, should your loved one desire private duty in-home care as well. One being, since Waterman Village Home Care is located on the same campus, they’ll already be familiar with your loved one’s current plan of care, which often leads to better health care outcomes as well.

Residents enjoy the spiritual services provided by our Spiritual Wellness Department. It’s ‘love thy neighbor’ in action. Our chapel is beautiful and can accommodate 150 residents.
