Helpful Services Tailored to Your Needs

Our compassionate team members take the time to get to know your abilities and needs so you can live as independently as possible. We will work with you to create an individualized Service Plan (SP) to guide your personalized services. Your SP will also capture your unique preferences so we can make sure your desires are met, from delivering your morning newspaper to bringing you a glass of wine after dinner. And should you need support with dressing, bathing, grooming, or medication management, your care team is always on hand to help—as little or as much as you need.

Compassionate Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care

From the moment you walk into our memory care neighborhoods, you know that you’ve arrived somewhere special—a place where caregivers are more like family. We have two levels of memory care available: Terrace Club and Reminiscence. Our Terrace Club Neighborhoods are ideal for those experiencing early to moderate memory loss, while our Reminiscence Neighborhoods are tailored to those living with more advanced Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia.

Expertise You Can Count On

Rooted in the latest research, our personalized memory care services leverage proven techniques to help keep residents engaged and happy. As an Authorized Validation Organization, we practice the Validation method, which uses empathy and communication to help reduce stress and increase happiness.

Our Orientation Training is recognized by the Alzheimer’s Association for incorporating evidence-based Dementia Care Practice Recommendations. In addition, many of our team members are certified in the Alzheimer’s Association’s essentiALZ® training program, further showcasing their knowledge of person-centered care practices.

Whether you need a place to stay while your caregiver is unavailable or you need help recuperating after a hospital visit, Sunrise has you covered. In addition to receiving personalized care, you will get to enjoy all the benefits of a Sunrise community—from fresh, homemade meals to helpful services to a variety of programs and events. You can also take part in fun social events and meet up with other residents, friends, and family in our beautiful common spaces.

The Road Home Program

We offer the Road Home program, a 30-day program specifically designed for guests coming to Sunrise directly from a hospital or rehabilitation center. The Road Home program provides assistance both during an illness or after a hospital visit. From medication management to around-the-clock care, you will experience all of the additional services that aid in a full, speedy recovery.

Short-Term Stay Options

Trial Period: A trial period can help you explore if Sunrise is right for you. In fact, many of our residents first discover our communities through a short-term stay.
Respite Stays: If your regular caregivers need some time off, Sunrise can be your home away from home. You’ll both have peace of mind knowing you have our support.
Rehabilitation Care: We’ll make sure you have everything you need to recover, including help with dressing, bathing, grooming, and medication management.
