This pet-friendly Independent Living community for active older adults offers 44 luxury apartments with a boutique hotel feel, inviting gathering spaces, amazing perks, and five-star service. Here, you’ll experience an unbeatable lifestyle free from the worries of home maintenance.

Your monthly rent includes tantalizing restaurant-style breakfasts Monday through Saturday, dinners served daily, and Sunday brunch. Weekly housekeeping and linen service, transportation services, secured underground parking with available valet service, a full activity and entertainment schedule, fitness and wellness programs, concierge services, and utilities are also included. Take advantage of our beautiful, art-filled social spaces such as the spacious solarium, the lounge with its grand piano, and the media room with WiFi and computer stations. There’s also a fully equipped fitness center, indoor heated pool, and therapeutic spa.

Spacious studio, one, and two bedroom apartments feature full gourmet kitchens, private bathrooms, large walk-in closets, washers and dryers, and high-end finishes. Most floor plans also include a private balcony or patio.

Our attentive and caring staff are available around the clock under the supervision of a licensed nurse to provide compassionate and unobtrusive assistance with daily living activities. A personalized care plan is created for each person and, thanks to our flexible, month-to-month pricing model, can readily evolve if your or your loved one’s needs change.

Each stylish, light-filled studio, one bedroom apartment, and two bedroom two bath apartment features a kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave, private bathroom, large walk-in closet, and high-end finishes. Many have high ceilings and lovely courtyard or garden views.

Palo Alto Commons also offers exclusive Elite Care to bridge the divide between Assisted Living and nursing care. This unique level of care adds support well beyond the typical Assisted Living services. Elite Care has the highest staff-to-resident ratio in our community and delivers one of the highest levels of Assisted Living care in the Bay Area.

Each person’s dementia journey – whether due to Alzheimer’s disease or another memory loss illness – is experienced by their whole family. At Palo Alto Commons, our highly trained family of caregivers works with you and your loved one to develop a personalized approach to care that honors each resident’s individual needs, experiences, skills, and interests.

The Journey at Palo Alto Commons offers residents dignified and compassionate care and specialized programming designed to stimulate and engage them, physically, emotionally, and socially. Activities are carefully tailored to suit residents’ different social and cognitive levels, from word games, art classes, and holiday celebrations to scenic drives, storytelling, and music programs.

Our safe and comfortable atmosphere and person-centered approach offers the highest quality of life through assistance with all activities of daily living and many specialized nursing services. Both private and shared accommodations are available where residents can have comforting mementos and favorite furnishings close at hand.

Palo Alto Commons also offers the exclusive Focused Care option for residents needing a high level of personal care, but with varying social and dining needs. This more customized approach utilizes our higher staff-to-resident ratio so participating Memory Care residents (including those in the latter stages of dementia and other memory impairments). Participants receive more extensive assistance and enriching activities suitable to their level of functioning, with an emphasis on sensory stimulation and reminiscence.
