Assisted Living

Pacific Gardens Assisted Living program is for both independent seniors as well as anyone beginning to need some assistance with the chores of daily life. Our goals for residents in assisted living? Maintaining health and wellness and providing appropriate service amenities for residents in need of assistance.

Tailored Resident Care

Our professional care teams create an individualized assistance plan based upon personal needs. We can provide assistance with:

• Medication management
• Bathing
• Dressing and grooming
• Diabetes management
• Oxygen management
• Wound care
• Escort to meals and/or activities

Pacific Gardens provides the tools for residents to age in place and function optimally with dignity. Rehab Go oversees our wellness program onsite. Fall reduction programs, wheelchair training and management, and osteoarthritis management are just some of the many programs offered onsite. New residents may have safety checks done on their rooms before move-in so that falls can be minimized.

Our Fitness Center and exercise classes are specifically tailored to meet our residents’ needs. They are lead by a Rehab Go team member.

Memory Care

Any Memory Loss diagnosis is the beginning of a long and difficult journey. It turns a family’s life upside down. We can help. Our program begins with a careful assessment of the individual and their life history. There is close consultation with the family. Through our many years of experience, we have developed a comprehensive program that addresses all stages of dementia.

Staff

All staff in the Memory Care program are carefully selected. We look at the essence of the potential staff member. We look for compassion. Through many years of experience we have developed continual staff training programs. It is important for staff to understand dementia. Staff are mentored by supervisors to deal with dementia behaviors in a manner that helps reduce agitation and anxiety. There is a daily briefing between shifts. This means incoming staff learns about any special issues a resident is having.

Family Support

We believe the family needs sustenance in dealing with the issues of dementia too. A regular support group is an integral part of our memory loss program.

Wellness

We encourage our residents to exercise in a way that is best for them. We have a seated exercise program, balance class and special stretching exercises. We also have an on-site gym with special equipment for seniors. Everything is professionally supervised by Rehab Go Rehabilitation to make sure safety is paramount and everyone who participates benefits.
