Our Services

Sub-Acute Care

Our expert medical professionals create treatment plans for a variety of cases, such as recovery from a joint replacement, wound care, IV treatment or illness. Sub-acute treatments primarily focus on skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. Treatments build strength and seek to restore patients to their previous level of functioning and mobility.

New Jersey Eastern Star Rehabilitation and Nursing subacute services support those recovering from surgery, severe illness, stroke, as well as other chronic conditions. We work with you and your loved ones to help you transition from hospital to home with renewed independence and mobility.

Our exceptional team of physicians, specialists, nurses, and therapists specialize in making your recovery process seamless. Where you require orthopedic rehab, cardiac care or stroke recovery, our services will get you back to your best health.

Our evidence-based treatment in the field of subacute rehabilitation enables us to provide the highest level of treatment, while significantly reducing the risk of complications, repeat injuries, or hospital readmission.

Cardiac Care

Whether you are recovering from a heart attack, stroke, angina, heart failure, dysrhythmia or other cardiac conditions that requires continuous monitoring and treatment, we provide a safe, supportive environment in which to rehabilitate and regain your health.

Stroke Recovery

After a stroke, you may experience loss of mobility, paralysis, weakness, memory or cognitive issues, emotional irregularities, speech problems, numbness or pain, trouble chewing and swallowing, incontinence, and other challenges.

The foundation of our program is therapies designed to help relearn skills such as movement, speech, strength, and daily living skills.

Orthopedic Rehab

We help patients regain lost motor skills and incorporate assistive devices, if needed, to return to a full and independent life.

Long-Term Care

For loved ones who can no longer live independently but want to continue living their lives with the opportunity to make new friends while feeling secure in a new home. New Jersey Eastern Star meets their individual care needs while creating a sense of community and belonging.

Our warm and welcoming, residentially designed facility serves Central NJ with a convenient location right off I-287, Route 28, and Route 22. Families visit easily and residents feel comfortable in the intimate setting. The friendly and professional staff not only fulfill care needs completely through individualized plans, but also become a second family to the residents.

As a non-profit care facility founded on serving the needs of aging friends and family members, our staff treats each patient as a unique person and seeks ways to improve lives every day. While all activities are voluntary, residents have the opportunity to socialize during special events, cooking demonstrations, musical performances, boutiques, exercise classes, bingo, gardening, pet therapy, and many other leisure activities.

Respite Care

You’ll have peace of mind knowing your loved one is in the capable and compassionate care of the New Jersey Eastern Star Home staff. In our intimate setting, we make sure each resident receives personalized attention as we consider their personal preferences and any treatment needs.

Skilled nurses help support you in your caregiving, so you can be energized and recharged to provide the best care at home.

Because we serve as a long-term care provider in a residentially designed setting, your loved one will be completely cared for in a home-like environment. Our trained staff provides personalized and professional care, respecting residents’ preferences and routines even during a short stay in our facility. Whether one-time or recurring care is required, your loved one will fit right in with our residents and enjoy the activities and amenities we have to offer. We encourage our respite “guests” to participate in the stimulating and engaging leisure pursuit options offered throughout the day.
