Our neighborhood consists of 11 separate homes, each with 11 rooms and private baths. Our assisted living and memory care homes offer a unique homelike setting with a large living room, centralized kitchen, dining area, fireplace, and large front porch. The property includes walking paths, a beauty salon, and cable is provided for all residents of Mayberry Gardens.

Types of Assisted Living Care Offered at Mayberry Gardens

Residents of Mayberry Gardens and other assisted living facilities often need different levels of care. More independent residents (Type A) need less daily oversight, but still need assistance with certain activities. Other residents may require more care, including help with dressing and bathing (Type B). Mayberry Gardens offers the right care, tailored to the needs of these different types of residents:

Meals

Meals are often the highlight of the day, as they provide a chance to gather and share food with friends. A facility’s menu and meal preparation program can make a big difference in whether your loved one is excited about the new day or not. At Mayberry Gardens, we offer 3 home cooked meals each day and family-style living that encourages socialization, especially at meal times.

Activities

Activities can be as important as food to many residents. Their mental and physical wellbeing can be tied to the activities available to them from day to day. Of course, this isn’t always the case. Some prefer to do things on their own or with a few close friends rather than participating in organized group activities. The purpose of a facility’s activity program is to make a variety of interesting things to do available to the residents and then encourage maximum participation.

At Mayberry Gardens, we offer a variety of activities each day which are intended to appeal to each of our residents. In addition, our facilities offer walking paths to encourage physical activity, as well as internet connections and cable television for relaxation and downtime.
