About Magnolia Gardens

Built in 2003 on six beautiful acres, Magnolia Gardens is the only assisted living in Pinellas County that is owned and operated by the Pinellas County Housing Authority. What that means to our residents and family members is that we stay true to our mission which is, As a leader and innovator, we strive to provide safe, quality housing for persons in need and to cultivate healthy, vibrant neighborhoods for Pinellas County.

What is Assisted Living?

Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs) are for seniors who may have reached a point in their life when they need some additional daily care in order to maintain an active and independent lifestyle.

At Magnolia Gardens, our residents receive assistance and care based on their needs and preferences through an all-inclusive monthly care package. Residents and family members can relax and enjoy retirement without the worry of how they will afford additional care as their needs may grow. Our all-inclusive care package is personalized for each resident and is updated as their needs grow.

If you move in paying a certain rate for care and services, you can rest assured that as your needs for additional care and services increase your monthly rate will not increase!

All-Inclusive Rates Include

Studios and 1-bedroom apartments. Choose from one of our fourteen different floor plans. Every apartment is equipped with a personal kitchenette and bathroom with handicapped accessibility features. Water and electric are included.

Personalized Support and Services

24-hour staff to assist with activities and daily living needs. Highly trained and experienced professionals deliver round-the-clock support and care, including health needs and activities. Our on-site beauty salon is also available to residents for haircuts.
Three meals daily, served restaurant-style. Our Grand Dining Hall features healthy and stunning dishes prepared by our full-time staff of chefs from some of the Bay Area’s best restaurants. Residents are then waited on and served by our dining services team. We personalize the dining experience for our residents and accommodate diets and preferences.
Personal health plans. Med techs can assist residents with self-administered medications. Residents receive regular health assessments by our team of medical professionals. Every apartment is equipped with a round-the-clock emergency call response system, and for an additional fee, personal wireless emergency pendants are available. Transportation to local doctor’s appointments can also be arranged.
Active social and living culture. Our activities coordinator schedules daily cultural and educational programs, including crafts, interactive games and fitness, as well as shopping trips with transportation. Every month features a festive themed party with musical guests.
Community activity room. The community activity room is our largest gathering space and features free Wi-Fi access for residents and their guests. Residents are free to use the room throughout the day for personal activities and gatherings.
Private, shaded gardens. Two private courtyards at Magnolia Gardens are lush with green, flowering bushes, colorful potted plants, and towering shade trees. It is a perfect spot to enjoy the relaxing sound of stone water fountains, spot hummingbirds, or enjoy a conversation with friends inside the gazebo.

Health and Well-being

Enrichment Activities for Body, Mind, and Spirit

Our activity program, Living Culture Initiative, provides a cultural and physical fitness program to keep body, mind, and spirit alive and well.

With heightened mental and physical activities, our residents experience an improvement in physical fitness, concentration and memory. This program creates confidence and a sense of purpose for our seniors and helps to increase their interactions within our community. The end goal is that our residents are able to continue to live an active, adult lifestyle.
