About Knowles Adult Day Care

Knowles Adult Day Care is committed to providing affordable and individualized social, nutritional, and daily living care to adults who need assistance, are disabled, or chronically ill, but prefer to live at home. Our program is specifically designed to provide care under the direct supervision of a registered nurse and in collaboration with the individual’s care team including the client’s primary care physician, social worker, dietician, the client and their family.

Adult Day Care

Knowles Home offers an Adult Day Care program for senior adults who cannot be left alone during the day, but do not need 24-hour nursing home care. Our Adult Day Care program provides professional, compassionate services for adults in a caring, supportive environment.

Respite Care

Knowles Home offers Respite Care for seniors as they recover from an illness or surgery, or while a caregiver is away for any reason. Our respite care guests receive the same quality services and care as our residents. Knowles Home assures each respite care guest a home-like atmosphere and 24-hour care.

Physical & Occupational Therapy (PT/OT)

Restores and increases strength, range of motion, flexibility, coordination, and endurance. It helps treat conditions such as arthritis and osteoporosis, encourages a more active lifestyle, and increases emotional confidence through strength building. This enhances a resident’s well-being and participation in everyday activity through a group wellness program.
