Services

We provide invaluable service to our residents. These services are designed to give our residents a sense of comfort, safety, and impudence. The following services are being offered:

• Monitoring and Dispersing of Medication
• Attendants on Duty 24 Hours a Day
• Planning and Arranging Transportation

Other Services

• Three carefully planned nutritious meals daily plus in-between snacks and juice
• Special diets and/or personal preferences will be accommodated.
• Assistance with bathing and all personal grooming needs
• Monitoring and dispensing of medications.
• All medications are centrally stored and dispensed by our specially trained med aides in strict accordance with physicians’ orders.
• Attendants on duty 24 hours a day
• Planning and arranging of transportation medical and dental appointments or other activities
• Our caregivers are trained in first aid and to watch for changes in residents’ behaviors.
• Bedside care for temporary illness
• Physical therapists, visiting nurses, and occupational therapists can be coordinated for rehabilitation.
• Maid and personal laundry services are provided for each resident.
• Pet-friendly
• Respite care is available to give families their much-needed break.
• Hospice end-of-life care coordination
• Wheelchair van for transportation to/from appointments
• Assistance in obtaining membership to the Carmel Foundation and other senior organizations

Amenities

In order for us to accommodate the different needs of our clients, we have set up various amenities for them to enjoy. These amenities serve to provide comfort, recreation, and much more. We offer the following:

• Lodging in six private rooms with full bathrooms
• Furnishings can be provided or residents may bring their own
• Both private phone and cable television hook-ups in each room
• Wide screen television and movie screenings in common area
• Fire marshal approved sprinkler system throughout the entire facility
• Assistance with spiritual needs of residents including visiting clergy
• Holiday celebrations

Social Events

Providing for our residents’ social and emotional needs is as important to us as looking after their physical well-being.

To meet those needs, Flanders Court interviews each resident to determine their favorite activities and interests. Based on this information, social activities are developed which they will find most rewarding.
