Diabetes Care

Different types of diabetes require a different approach in the care of each individual resident. Our staff has the experience in dealing with the unique challenges and emotions faced by elderly diabetics. We prepare an appropriate diet and assist your loved one with monitoring his/her blood sugar level. We help to manage diabetes with doctor prescribed medications, an essential diet, and exercise.

• Family can authorize Elderly Haven to communicate with the doctor
• Closing the care loop ensures efficiency, communication and time to action

• We observe and report but family will make decisions based on what doctors prescribe
