From assistance with the activities of daily living to gentle medication reminders, a friendly, helpful and respectful staff works with each resident to customize a daily schedule based on that person’s lifestyle and individual preferences.

Our one- and two-bedroom apartments are equipped with all the features and amenities important to today’s seniors. And, with 24-hour nursing care available on site, residents have access to care when they need it and families enjoy peace of mind. Memory Care

Caring for someone with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia requires special skills, patience, and understanding. Our team has special training and extensive experience in dementia care for residents with varying degrees of memory decline and is able to provide care in safe, secure, and cheerful surroundings.

Skilled Nursing

Residents of our skilled nursing center – The Robert and Natalie Marcus Home for the Jewish Aged – are the very heart of our community. We consider them family. Our top priority is to ensure they enjoy unsurpassed comfort, dignity and quality of life.

Caring, Compassionate, Competent.

Our multidisciplinary team of professionals provides care and support 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Residents are visited by our medical director or other physicians at least once a month for a wellness exam and more frequently if necessary. Our Podiatry Clinic is staffed by specialists and dental work can be done at Greenwood House.

Team members include:

• A board-certified medical director
• Board-certified geriatricians who provide counseling and clinical evaluations
• Podiatrists and dentists who keep regularly scheduled clinical hours on site
• Over 100 licensed nurses & certified nurses aides who provide daily care and support
• Physical, occupational & speech therapists who provide rehabilitative and restorative services
• Social workers who develop plans of care to meet individual psychosocial needs

Therapy and Rehabilitation Services

Our rehabilitation services are designed to help patients regain strength, mobility and independence with a goal of achieving an optimal level of functioning. Each patient who receives our rehabilitative services is assured of an individualized plan that maximizes abilities and enhances life.

We typically provide rehabilitation for:

• Orthopedic conditions
• Stroke rehabilitation
• Neurological disorders such as Parkinson’s disease
• Cardio/pulmonary conditions

Short-Term Rehabilitation

Our short-term subacute rehabilitation program provides care to those who have suffered a catastrophic illness or accident, patients recuperating after a surgery or hospitalization, and those in need of restorative services on a short-term basis. Following an acute hospitalization, post-acute care services assure medical and physical stability and a safer transition home.
