Imagine an intimate setting as comfortable as home, but with professional caregivers on site 24/7 to prepare home-cooked meals from scratch, and handle all the laundry, housekeeping, medications, and other activities of daily living. This level of close and personal care is only available in a private residential care home, also known as a board and care home. We are licensed and follow the same set of regulations as larger assisted living facilities, but with a much improved ratio of caregivers to residents and a more hands-on, bespoke approach to care for each of only six individual residents in our home.

Like a Bed and Breakfast

We take pride in keeping our homes clean and cheerful with a cozy atmosphere reminiscent of a pampered Bed-and-Breakfast. Our San Jose assisted living facilities have private bedrooms and baths, and can accommodate non-ambulatory seniors who need ramps and wheelchair exits. The homes are surrounded by lovely landscaped yards with sunny decks and shady patios. Our memory care and dementia unit has a secure perimeter and exit alarms and is in a safe neighborhood where our homes have served the elderly for over 20 years.

High Staffing Ratios

Our homes accommodate six residents who are assisted by a minimum of two staff on site at all times. Our 3:1 client-to-caregiver ratio assures a level of care that is more personal than many large institutions with ratios of 10 or 12:1. The cornerstone of our program is our dedicated staff.
