What We Do

Our mission is to enhance the lives of seniors living with dementia. This is a very personal mission ingrained in the fabric of Palm Villas, a family-owned and operated company.

We specialize in caring for seniors with memory impairments, such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Lewy-Body, or other forms of dementia. Our staff is specially trained in these fields and in caring for those who are at any stage of dementia. We provide expert clinical care led by fully licensed personnel on-site around the clock.

Palm Villas is designed to give your loved one a fulfilling life, in a safe and stimulating home-like environment that allows them to enjoy their golden years.

No matter their age or condition, we provide daily social and stimulating activities to keep their life enriched and help slow the progression of dementia.

We do this through the 7 Pillars of Wellness: physical exercise, cognitive stimulation, social activities, support groups, anxiety reduction, music therapy and our culinary experience. All of these are designed and have been proven to awaken the senses and stimulate the memory.

We provide daily living activities (bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, etc.), foot care, toileting and medication management.

Our Personal Services

The Palm Villas Activity Pillars

Palm Villas Assisted Living communities feature unique activities centered around the 7 Pillars of Wellness aimed at managing the progression of dementia for our residents. The medical field continues its search for a cure. These 7 Pillars are:

• Cognitive Stimulation. The Cognitive Stimulation program is designed to support and maintain memory through brain fitness exercises, such as music therapy, word/strategy games, art classes, and more.
• Exercise. Physical Exercise has been proven to have significant positive impacts on brain functionality.
• Social Activities. We provide a wide range of social activities, such as bingo night, cards, dance, arts and crafts, casino night, and many other events.
• Anxiety Reduction. We have a wide range of methods to ensure your loved one lives in a stress-free environment. This includes our bird sanctuary, our array of fish and lovable Maltipoo puppies. Pets have been known to reduce anxiety, fear and depression.
• Support Groups. Our Support Groups are designed to help families navigate through the progression of their loved one’s dementia.
• Culinary Experience. We take great care in designing our culinary program to suit your loved one’s needs and swallowing precautions.
• Music Therapy. Music is used in therapeutic ways to address physical, emotional and cognitive needs of our residents.

Our Culinary Philosophy

Our “Heart and Soul” is our patrons. We pride ourselves by using only the freshest ingredients and preparing the finest foods daily.

Our Menu changes monthly to accommodate a large variety of delicious and nutritious meals.

All meals are delicious, healthy and nutritious. Our residents do not have the same meal requirements. Residents with special dietary and preparation needs have a menu specifically designed for them.

If there is a certain food that you like “Just Ask” we are happy to make it especially for you.

Our Building

Our foremost responsibility is the well-being and safety of our residents. However, our buildings are designed with familiarity for our residents, so that the welcoming environment reminds them of home. Our goal is to make your loved one as comfortable and safe as possible.

We employ the latest in security technology for resident monitoring and community safety. All exterior doors are secured with delayed egress systems.
