Medication Management

There comes a point in everyone’s life when they may no longer be able to take care of themselves. Lincoln Retirement Villa provides the support that retirees and their families require, including Medication Management services, which we provide.

Programming & Activities

We know that keeping residents physically and socially active can often slow the progression of Alzheimer’s or dementia, and ease its effects. To help manage anxiety, wandering, and sundowner’s syndrome, our care partners personalize their approach to each resident. Some examples include:

• Secure courtyard and walking paths
• Resident sing-alongs to connect through songs they’ve known for decades
• Musical performances to engage non-verbal residents
• Additionally, our facility offers a variety of enriching activities, life-skill areas, social settings, and wellness programs specifically designed to care for and support individuals with dementia and their families.

Our Administrator/Director meets with new residents and their families to develop an individualized care plan, which includes an assessment of the resident’s physical and psychological needs, as well as personal likes and dislikes. This plan is reviewed regularly and updated as needs progress.

Safety and Security

Peace of mind drives many decisions with individuals seeking retirement living for themselves or their loved one. A secure memory care environment where your loved one will be safe from wandering—or assisted with an urgent medical need—is an important consideration when deciding to transition into senior living.

Lincoln Retirement Villa provides a variety of amenities and services that address your comfort and security concerns. We provide emergency response systems that are accessible from each resident suite as well as individual pendants for the resident to wear. We also provide security monitoring systems that help residents who may wander have maximum freedom and safety.

To ensure the safety of our residents, our personal care team is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our staffing ratios increase with the level of care that our residents require, so that we can address their individual scheduled or unscheduled needs. Our team is also available to assist with medications through gentle reminders, assistance or administration by our care team.

The wellness and activity programs that we offer reduce the risk of falls, increase strength and aid in monitoring chronic conditions.
