Circle of Friends®

Our innovative, award-winning Circle of Friends program is designed for residents with Mild Cognitive Impairment and early-to-mid stage memory loss who need a higher level of cognitive support, but don’t require a secured environment. Circle of Friends modifies our Whole Brain Fitness approach with structured, small group activities and seven-day-a-week programming designed to support brain health and build cognitive reserve.

Non-Secured Memory Care Within Assisted Living

Living with memory loss doesn’t have to happen behind closed doors. Our Circle of Friends program is specifically designed for residents who have experienced cognitive changes and need more support but don’t need a secured memory care environment. Circle of Friends residents live in assisted living residences but participate in a structured day of activities designed to help maintain cognitive function. Activities are therapeutic, with attainable goals and conducted in a small group setting to encourage residents stay involved, maintain function, build confidence and have happy, fulfilling days.

Memory Care Neighborhood

Our memory care experts created the Memory Care Neighborhood for residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. In the Neighborhood, residents continue to follow our Whole Brain Fitness lifestyle along with personalized therapeutic activities designed to provide a rich, meaningful day in the safety and comfort of a secure environment.

We’ve designed our memory care neighborhoods with our residents in mind. The smaller, self-contained area maintains the look and feel of the rest of the community while providing a more navigable space for residents. Memory care residents continue to enjoy many of Belmont Village’s hospitality and amenities including chef-prepared meals in Josephine’s Café, transportation services, onsite therapy services and private outdoor spaces.
