Simpson Place Assisted Living brings a level of independence within reach and gives seniors the support services they need. With the assistance of Medicaid and Social Security benefits we are able to make assisted living available at a fraction of the cost of a typical assisted living community and obtainable to those that may have a limited monthly income.

Government Funded Assisted Living

When elderly seniors need to move into assisted living facilities, finding affordable housing that gives them the level of care they need and independence they desire becomes important. At Simpson Place Assisted Living, we work with various government agencies to give seniors the low income housing they need in order to live comfortably on their fixed income.

The federal government has created a program that lets money for healthcare services in a nursing home be used for assisted living. Your apartment rent and meals are paid for through a combination of Social Security, Medicaid and a Section 8 Voucher. When you or your loved one is between hospital-level care and a return to home, our short-term rehab program is the perfect place to heal. The process begins with a comprehensive evaluation and custom-tailored care plan.

Our short-term rehab program provides 24-hour skilled nursing care and a full range of rehabilitative services—respiratory therapy, intravenous therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy.

Therapy Schedule

The Short Term Rehab Program is intense and accelerated, and also tailored to the individual. It helps both inpatients and outpatients build strength and independence to allow individuals to achieve their maximum level of function before returning home. Your therapy schedule may include two or more individualized therapy sessions per day. During your stay, the therapists will have you practice, perform, and perfect all the skills you need before being discharged.
