Piner’s Guest Home is an Eden Alternative home. That means that we strive to help our Elders live lives full of meaning and purpose. We offer opportunities to help care for our vegetable gardens and look after our resident pets, who are a wonderful source of companionship for our Elders.

From the comfort and privacy of the rooms to the openness and friendliness of the recreation areas, the Elders have a place to call their own. Our Elders enjoy decorating their rooms with their own furnishings and special touches.

Our fully qualified staff provides individualized care, which emphasizes a balance of personal and professional interaction. All of our employees are trained in the philosophies of the Eden Alternative. We care for each Elder as if they were our own family.

Professional Care

Our Elders can relax knowing that all of their needs are being taken care of. Our professional staff is available 24 hours a day to help. We are happy to provide assistance with personal needs, tailored to each individual. All meals are provided by our expert kitchen staff, and snacks are always available.

Familiarity

Our small size is one of the ways we can be sure our Elders feel at home. Friendships form naturally between neighbors, and the staff is very familiar with each Elder and their unique needs and desires.

Involvement

Experience a community of people to live life with, to talk with, to share with, to engage with. We offer lots of opportunities for involvement. From cultural and local events to holiday parties and birthdays, Elders remain engaged with life and all of the celebrations that go along with it.

Community

Piner’s Nursing Home, our skilled nursing facility, is just a short walk across the driveway, which is a great comfort to couples whose care needs differ. Its proximity also makes transitioning simple and convenient in the event that an Elder’s needs change.

Services

Our small community allows Elders and staff members to form lasting connections, allowing us to better anticipate and provide for each individual’s needs. Some of our amenities include:

Care

We offer assistance with personal care needs on an individual basis. Our staff is here to help Elders with tasks like bathing, grooming, and dressing.

Our staff communicates directly with our Elders’ doctors, addressing health concerns and coordinating doctor office visits with the family.

We provide medication assistance, as well as consultations with doctors and pharmacists regarding an Elder’s medications. We also take care of any necessary medication orders or refills.

Licensed nurses are available every day in our skilled nursing facility, just a few steps away.
