Our Journey program is designed to identify where your loved one is in their Journey and educate our team on how to join them where they are to make this journey the best we possibly can. We teach our team how to engage your loved one, help them to smile, laugh and receive the care that they need daily. We educate them on the types of dementia, the symptoms of dementia, and the seasons of change that each person will experience during this Journey.

Initially, we enlist the family to fill out “My Story”, this allows us to learn about your loved one, and by doing, to better engage and care for them. We use Life Stations, music, crafts, touch, smell and much more to connect with our residents, once we learn what makes them smile, we work diligently to keep that smile on their face as often as possible.
