Hospice Respite Care

Bahama Bay Club offers respite care in Florida to allow the current caregiver the opportunity to take an extended leave. Our place is here to help with the recovery of your loved ones. Our respite care for the elderly is available for all care levels, whether it be skilled nursing or assisted living or memory care.

Our Respite Care program lasts 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the resident’s needs. Our management monitors and strictly follows all medical instructions that will lead to your full and speedy recovery.

Our residents are part of our family, and the continued provision of higher-acuity services is an integral part of our philosophy. Most residents move in as independent residents, but if they need assisted living services, they do not have to move again. We simply bring the care to them.

Continued rehabilitation is an integral part of our residents’ continued improvement. Our in-house outpatient rehabilitation clinic provides daily physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. In-community physical therapy programs are provided by Blue Water Therapy.

Our community features an elegant selection of resort-style amenities including tiki huts, a wooden deck with raised lounging chairs, a resort-style lagoon with tropical plants, and an outside bar. Our Floribean cuisine is catered by our Executive Chef in the Ocean Pearl restaurant dining room. We also offer an outdoor grill, smoker, and a fire pit with Adirondack chairs.

Indoor Amenities

Each apartment is equipped with a 10-inch Alexa Show system for video chats and voice-activated controls for temperature, lighting, and TV. Specialty rooms are available for private dining, gaming, intergenerational learning, and arts and crafts. An on-site health clinic with trained medical personnel is available at all times.
