Short-Term Rehabilitation

Through short-term, intensive physical, and medical services, our rehabilitation team helps to restore each resident to his or her highest level of functioning and independence, and as quickly as possible. We provide Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapy six days a week based on your customized therapy treatment plan, which is determined by your diagnosis and treatment plan. Short-Term Rehabilitation services include:

• Feeding Tubes
• Medication Management

Many surgical procedures and health conditions require Short-Term Rehabilitation. We understand that you want to get back home and to your life as soon as possible, and that’s our goal, too.

Long-Term Care

Long-Term Care is offered at all locations for any needs that our residents may have. We design individual care plans for each resident to address their needs and our compassionate caregivers provide 24-hour nursing care.

Aquatic Therapy

Aquatic therapy uses the physical properties of water to assist in patient healing and exercising performance, largely through the buoyancy and natural resistance provided by the water. The buoyancy assists in reducing the force of stress placed on the joints. Our therapy team utilizes aquatic therapy to achieve better outcomes in residents with arthritis and bone fractures that are in the healing process, as less joint stress makes exercise easier and less painful.

Our therapy team uses aquatic therapy as an enhancement to treatment sessions. All of our therapy team members are trained and encouraged to utilize the pool for our residents daily. During a resident’s initial assessment, the evaluating therapist will determine if they are eligible for aquatic therapy.

Occupational Therapy

Our Occupational Therapists focus on many daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming and safe transfers. By developing goals, we help our residents address the barriers that may hinder their performance and regain the skills necessary to leading a more rewarding life.

Our Occupational Therapy services are structured to increase patient independence in those who have experienced a loss of ability caused by aging, illness, injury, or developmental disability. Our Occupational Therapy team provides skills for individuals to work toward returning to daily life with minimal discomfort and maximum productivity. They assist those in recovery from stroke, arthritis, hip fractures, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease and other conditions. Our team of Occupational Therapists excel in their ability to creatively adapt the environment to meet the individual’s needs.

Speech Therapy

Loss of speech is frustrating, but can be regained partially or fully with the aid of trained speech therapists. Our certified and licensed Speech Therapy professionals are trained in the diagnosis and therapeutic techniques to improve speech reception, difficulty swallowing and other oral problems. We focus on cognitive retraining, expressive language and speech, swallowing skills training for any neurological/cognitive deficits, and other areas.

Our Speech-Language Pathologists, commonly referred to as speech therapists, are professional trained to diagnose and treat communication disorders, such as aphasia, voice control, and decreased cognitive functioning. Our Speech Therapists also diagnose and treat swallowing disorders, known as dysphagia. Each of our therapists look at each aspect of communication and swallow function to help our patients reach their maximum potential.

Outpatient Therapy

The goal of the Outpatient Therapy program is to give members of the community the option to live at home but still have access to the trained therapy staff and modern therapy gym. We currently offer Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy services on an outpatient basis.

Our Outpatient Therapy can help you:

• Build strength, endurance, muscle tone, range of motion, hand-eye coordination and balance while decreasing anxiety and boosting energy levels and mood
• Maintain independence and self-respect by providing exercises and assistive devices that enable you to continue performing daily tasks such as dressing, cooking and eating on their own
• Improve speaking and swallowing abilities

Hospice Care

Our hospice care is designed to help our residents live out their last moments as comfortably as possible, and to allow family members to focus on saying goodbye. We provide an intensive level of care that cannot be managed in other settings, including pain management as well as emotional and spiritual support. Our residents receive highly compassionate and professional care management from a team of physicians, nurses, social workers, certified nursing assistants and chaplains. All in an environment that is calm, soothing and supportive of all.

Respite Care

Respite Care is a great opportunity when a caregiver needs a break. This beneficial service is offered for any service line; Memory Care, Long-Term Care and/or Hospice. We will offer a fully furnished room to receive excellent care for up to 30 days.

Physical Therapy

By adding a Physical Therapy regimen to your treatment plan, even the most painful injuries can heal faster and produce the best long-term results. Our physical therapists assist in restoring a wide range of impairments through therapeutic exercises and functional and walking training to enable our residents to reach their highest level of physical independence and mobility. Physical Therapy helps increase your strength and stamina through a series of exercises, examination, diagnosis and physical intervention.

Our Physical Therapy team provides therapy to our residents who have experienced neuromuscular, orthopedic and/or musculoskeletal dysfunctions. Professionally trained & licensed, our physical therapists use state-of-the-art equipment & therapy modalities in applying general scientific principles to prevent, identify, correct, or compensate for specific dysfunctions. Majestic Care’s goal is to maximize individual independence for our residents.

• Professionals Onsite: Our dedicated Spiritual Care professionals are available to offer spiritual guidance, emotional support, and prayers tailored to the spiritual needs of our residents.
