Caring for our residents is an emotional investment for our caregivers as much as it is an emotional experience for our residents and their families. By focusing on why we do what we do, we put into practice what we believe and know to be true… each person matters.

Working with each resident and their loved ones, we can develop a specialized plan to address the unique emotional, social and physical needs of each resident. What you find at Onora are people who care. By limiting our home to a maximum of 15 residents, we commit the attention, the compassion and the experience to enable our model to fit the individual. The lower resident-to-staff ratio enables residents to develop a trusting relationship with our staff, which is a critical dynamic for ensuring your family member’s quality of life. We have created a model with flexibility, rather than requiring a resident to adapt to a standard one-size-fits-all program.

Onora contracts services with eCare-Solutions, a creative designer and implementer of technology assisted care models. The visionary models focus on blending the proper balance of technology and care, keeping individuals safe and independent in their surroundings. We are able to enhance our existing high-touch care model by integrating appropriate tools such as remote sensors monitoring, personal emergency response calls, and security monitors.

Unlike assisted living facilities, Onora’s focus is on concierge care. We dedicate our resources to ensuring quality while offering a holistic approach tailored to your loved one’s unique abilities and interests. Onora is setting new standards in caregiving.

Onora is a resident’s home and we are committed to providing homelike nutritious meals that accommodate various tastes and eating preferences not found in traditional facilities, including Gluten-free meal options.

Our health care component provides 24-hour nursing care on site, which sets us apart from the standard care offered by many other facilities. A doctor dedicated to home visits and added availability of podiatrists and other specialists limits the amount of transit required by family members and loved ones to appointments. Lab work is also done on site.

Our daily life enrichment program, The Path, builds upon the unique path of our resident’s life by enhancing old passions and cultivating new interests. Full-time concierge services, as well as a beauty salon, spa services, aromatherapy and in-home physical therapy and occupational therapy are presented in a wellness program specific to the needs of our residents.

Day Care Program

Spend the day with our family! Our Day Care Program is designed to provide a safe and innovative environment for your loved one within our facility. Each client participates in a creative enrichment program customized for a unique experience that optimizes brain function, fosters confidence and increases happiness.

This program is available 7 days a week, with hours offered at your convenience. Simply call us to schedule.

Respite Stays

Our respite care program offers short-term stays that are a great way to relieve the stress of caregiving. We offer reliable safe care options when caregivers have events, vacations or just need to be away from home for a while. Enjoy your time away knowing your loved one is in a safe environment that caters to all of their individual needs.

We also offer nursing and respite stays for patients not able to return directly home after a hospital visit or during an illness. Our program coordinates all services and oversees medication management to help ensure a full recovery.
