Tovertafel Interactive System for Memory Care

• Cognitive Effects: Our interactive games have proven cognitive effects on elderly people living with dementia in memory, long-term care and more. Everyone is challenged at their own level and all of our games stimulate participation.
• Physical Effects: We can stimulate the involvement of our players in our games. The Tovertafel’s interactive light projections respond to the smallest of movements allowing their confidence to motivate them to continue playing.
• Social Effects: Fun is something you experience with each user. Our games allow for social interaction between care professionals, fellow residents and family members who come to visit.
• Sensory Effects: Stimulating the senses of a person with dementia has many positive benefits. In these games, mood enhancement is done with interactive images and sounds.

Assisted Living

We offer levels of care to ensure that residents receive individualized assistance, with the flexibility to adjust as needs change. Our resident care director and memory care director, licensed nurses, determine the appropriate level of care for each resident by completing an assessment of each resident’s individual abilities and needs.

At our Assisted Living community, seniors get to embrace life in every way. Our social calendar is filled with many options, including Wii games, daily exercise, board games, entertainers, lunch outings, shopping trips, and many other programs to stimulate minds, strengthen bodies, and invigorate spirits. Our back yard and patio give our residents the opportunity to exercise on our walking path, plant flowers or a garden, or just socialize with friends and family.

Our residents enjoy the freedom to do as much or as little as they please.

Within each care level, we customize care to help each resident maintain his or her highest level of independence and ability.

The Bridges Community

Sodalis Senior Living has created the Bridges Community in order to give our residents the freedom of Assisted Living with the added reminders and support that is received when in a Memory Care setting. This program is designed specifically for seniors in the early stages of dementia, or for couples where one individual has cognitive decline, while the other individual is still very independent. It supports couples staying together, and at the same time offers to meet the needs of each individual.

This community provides the perfect blend of added support and security, while each resident maintains their independence.

Memory Care

For residents who need specialized care while living with Alzheimer’s Disease and other memory disorders, we provide Memory Care support 24 hours per day.

Memory Care accommodations are as beautiful as the rest of the community with a higher level of staffing. Memory Care has its own activity director to provide individualized programs for each resident’s unique needs.

Our staff understands the importance of individual preferences in daily life. They are specially trained in dementia care to understand the progression of memory disorders. Above all, they are exceptionally caring people who bring compassion, companionship, and cognitive stimulation to our residents.

Memory Care

Each private suite includes a bathroom and A/C unit. Our rates include three home-cooked meals, housekeeping, flat linen and towel laundry, utilities, activities, basic assistance with activities of daily living, and the availability of our trained care associates 24 hours a day.
