Spanish Oak Assisted Living, a licensed Type B assisted living facility, was founded in 2008 in order to provide exemplary long-term senior care and assisted living in Central Texas. We wanted to create a home environment where our residents could thrive, make new relationships and concentrate on the things that they enjoy the most. Our staff of professional caregivers works with each individual to design a care plan that is tailored to each resident’s unique needs, thereby promoting autonomy and wellness.

Services Provided

Spanish Oak Assisted Living provides long-term assisted living and senior residential care that accommodates your loved one’s evolving needs. Any change can be perceived as a challenge. Our extensive care options are designed to support our guests as long as they wish, negating the need to move to a different facility down the road.

Unlike traditional large-scale facilities, we are able to provide a much more intimate, community-oriented space in order to help our residents feel at home. Meals are served three times a day and snacks are provided twice daily. Food is prepared according to the individual’s nutritional requirements. Our experienced staff strives to make daily chores and necessities stress-free. From bathing and clothing assistance to help with incontinence care and other personal hygiene and grooming needs, we make the process as pleasant and dignified as possible. Weekly housekeeping keeps the home in good order and we provide laundry service. We also provide medication management, assistance with setting up home health care and hospice care, if needed.

Organized activities are crucial to the wellness of our senior assisted living residents. There is always something to do. We are proud to offer memory care activities to engage your loved one. Our services are well supplemented with amenities and we regularly host providers of additional services, such as beauticians, physical therapists, and hair and nail experts in-house, giving our residents the resources to feel their best. Our home is designed with mobility in mind and our staff can provide wheelchair mobility assistance.

Spanish Oak Assisted Living is comprised of a large home that sits on 1.5 acres of manicured countryside. The common rooms are updated, spacious and elegant, which inspires unity and many opportunities to be involved and active away from the Texas heat. Our long-term senior care and assisted living residents are offered a number of ways to be engaged in the community. Daily activities are organized and scheduled to promote interaction with each other, as well as to support independence. Residents are encouraged to enjoy board games, card games, dominoes, interactive video games, and memory care activities. The common area is equipped with a large television. Our care providers can help organize various in-home services including religious services, manicures and pedicures, beauticians, and physical therapy.

Enjoy Life Outside

The home has a beautiful view of the neighboring farm and our staff encourages many outdoor activities. Ramps have been installed for wheelchair accessibility, so it’s easy to go inside and outside the home. Our residents have plenty of opportunities to spend some relaxing time outside, whether it is just resting on the porch, cooking some BBQ, or exploring the land. Our raised planter beds are perfect for gardening. The property also has many picturesque trails for nature lovers to enjoy. It is the perfect place to make new friends, tell some tales and make new, beautiful memories.

Our Inclusive Community

Continually nurturing community is tremendously important to us. Our services help to alleviate the stress of daily chores and other common factors that can make a day challenging, so our residents can focus on the activities that they enjoy the most. We often arrange live music performances to be conducted at the home and other fun community-wide events. Our staff runs group BINGO sessions and movie nights for our residents. Family get-togethers and cookouts are organized over the holidays. Our dedicated senior residential care and long-term assisted living attendants are committed to providing a comfortable and inclusive environment. We are proud to run a smaller home in order to provide an extra level of personal care and devotion to our resident’s mental and physical wellness.
