We are a senior living community in the San Joaquin Valley that provides both assisted and independent living services for seniors. We are committed to providing every resident with individual care and attention in a safe and homely environment.

Our goal is to provide an atmosphere in which residents have the ability to enjoy their golden years while maintaining their dignity in a serene setting.

Services We Offer

Meals

United Family Elderly Care Homes will provide three well-balanced nutritious meals on a daily basis and provide easy alternate meals. Snacks are also being served in between meals.

We can prepare meals especially for those seniors with restrictive diets as ordered by their physician.

Housekeeping & Laundry

Light housekeeping including regular linen change is provided for residents at United Family Elderly Care Homes. Laundry of personal clothing is also included. Family members are free to do their own laundry for their loved ones outside the facility if they wish to do so.

Mail

At United Family Elderly Care Homes, all incoming mail, packages and large envelopes will be delivered to the resident’s room. Outgoing mail may be deposited in the outgoing mailbox or given to the facility’s mini office. We do our best to help our seniors stay up to date with their correspondence especially when keeping in touch with their family and friends.

Health Services & Medications

United Family Elderly Care Homes has experienced caregivers who are on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Medication set-up and assistance are available to all residents.

Independent residents who choose to keep and administer their own medications may keep them securely locked in their room with doctor’s orders. Activities of daily living services such as bathing, dressing, eating, grooming and toileting are provided for residents as well.

Personal Items

Residents at United Family Elderly Care Homes can decorate their rooms as they please with the management consent. Although we may strive to keep the facility as secure as possible, residents are strongly discouraged from keeping valuable belongings in the facility.

We will not be responsible for damages or loss of personal property, except for loss caused by staff negligent acts.

Utilities & Subscriptions

All utilities are provided by United Family Elderly Care Homes. A television and a telephone are provided for the residents’ use in the common living areas.

Each room is wired and fully prepared for phone, television, and basic cable connection in case the resident wants to have their own for private use. Contracts and equipment for these services, to include newspaper/magazine subscriptions, telephone handsets, and PC internet hookups are the responsibility of each resident. A list of service providers and instructions will be provided upon admission if needed.

Visitors & Visiting Hours

United Family Elderly Care Homes encourages family and friends to visit their loved ones. Visiting hours are posted visibly in each facility.

Transportation

Our staff can arrange transportation for the residents with their medical appointments upon request. We can also provide transportation arrangements to and from:

• Specialized Clinics
• Stretcher Services
• Rehabilitation Facilities
• Doctor’s Appointments
• Dialysis Appointments
• Recreational Outings
• Airport Shuttle

Doctor Visits

A physician is available for house calls at United Family Elderly Care Homes upon acceptance of enrollment. This doctor can order professional medical assistance for the resident as deemed necessary such as:

• Home health nurses
• Physical therapists
• Phlebotomists
• X-ray technicians

These professionals can conduct home service. He/She can also order medicines directly from the pharmacy of your choice.

Activities/Recreation

There is a variety of activities in each home that the resident can choose from. These activities maintain an active lifestyle for our seniors.

Activities include:

• Karaoke singing
• Bingo games
• Toss-the-ball
• …and many more games

We promote and encourage physical activity for our seniors when able.

Third Party Services

United Family Elderly Care Homes can arrange for third party services upon the request of the senior. We can call specialty or health care providers to visit the facility and provide in-house services:

• Beautician
• Podiatry Services
• Massage Services

These can be arranged at minimal costs.
