Since opening in 1998, The Windsor’s reputation, location, and variety of services has kept us as one of the premier retirement communities in St. Tammany.

The Windsor offers a carefree lifestyle for our seniors, while keeping affordability and personalized care as our top priorities. It has always been our mission to give seniors the peace of mind that is needed to maintain their independence, while aging in place through the use of our assisted living services menu.

Windsor residents no longer have to worry about meal preparation, housekeeping, or maintenance issues. Instead, they can enjoy walks around our beautiful pond surrounded by cypress trees, fine dining, and endless social activities. Extended Continental Breakfast Served Daily

A La Carte Amenities

For residents who just need a little extra help, we offer services that can be purchased on a monthly basis to assist residents as needed. Some residents may only need medication reminders—then that is all they pay for each month. These services can be added or subtracted to meet the resident’s personal care needs. Our residents only pay for what they need.

Services included on the A La Carte Menu are:

Medication Assistance (packages range from 1-4 times per day)
Bathing and Dressing Assistance
Ambulation Assistance
Extended Personal Assistance
Visual Check-ups
Scheduled Blood Pressure Checks
Housekeeping
Food Services Light Evening Meal

These services can be purchased as needed by the resident so that residents are not paying for something they do not need.

Assisted Living Amenities

Residents who need a little more assistance in daily living tasks can opt for the full assisted living package. Assisted living residents enjoy the same amenities as independent residents plus the following additional amenities:

Full assisted living packages include:

Daily AM and PM dressing
Bathing assistance every other day
Medication assistance program
Daily bed making, dish washing, trash removal
Three meals daily
Meal delivery to the apartment
Laundry service twice a week
Housekeeping twice a week

A La Carte Amenities

For residents who do not need the full assisted living package, we offer services that can be purchased on a monthly basis to assist residents as needed.
