Fidelis Residential Care Homes offers a caring alternative to traditional nursing homes. We provide high-quality, personalized assisted living and memory care in an intimate, residential setting for a limited number of seniors.
Our homes are designed to support independence while delivering 24-hour supervision, protective oversight, and assistance with daily living activities. Residents enjoy the comfort of private or semi-private rooms, home-cooked meals, and social engagement in shared spaces that promote physical and emotional well-being.
Fidelis was founded by a team of healthcare professionals and is still owned and operated today by a close-knit family with deep clinical experience. The result is one of the highest caregiver-to-resident ratios in the industry—supported by a team of caregivers who are carefully screened, trained, and deeply committed to each resident’s well-being.

Fidelis Residential Care Homes was founded by a team of healthcare professionals with deep experience in emergency and senior care—and is still led today by that same close-knit family. We operate a growing network of 11 residential care homes in Metairie, Baton Rouge, Mandeville, and Denham Springs. Each location provides 24-hour personal care and protective oversight in an intimate, home-like setting—ideal for seniors who need help with daily living but want to maintain a sense of independence and comfort.
We like to say that Fidelis is “the caring alternative to nursing homes and the intimate alternative to assisted living.” It’s a place where each resident is known, respected, and supported by a team of dedicated caregivers who are trained, screened, and committed to exceptional care.

Additional physical therapy and home health care can be coordinated as needed.

Instead, our qualified caregivers are always nearby – ready to assist, notice subtle changes, and keep family members informed. We communicate regularly with loved ones to ensure everyone is on the same page and every concern is compassionately addressed.
Unlike traditional facilities where help may only come from a distant nurse’s station, our caregivers are present, engaged, and focused. It’s not a system; it’s a relationship.

Resident fees are based on room accommodation and individual care needs, and they’re typically lower than those at nursing homes or large assisted living facilities.
We do not charge extra for services like:
