Chandler Hall is a non-profit Quaker-based Continuing Care Senior Living Community dedicated to helping our residents and their families navigate the Journey of Aging since 1973. By offering several levels of care, including Independent Living, Personal Care, Memory Care, Respite Care, Long-Term Skilled Nursing and Short-Term Rehabilitation, Hospice Services, and community-based Palliative Care – we will be your partner along the way.

Personal Care for those who need Assistance with Activities of Daily Living in Bucks County

At Chandler Hall, we believe that by personalizing care, residents can live a fuller, richer life for longer while maintaining their independence as much as possible. Our Personal Care residences (Jordans and Phelps) offer private suites in various sizes, including a living area, bedroom, kitchenette, and private bathroom with walk-in showers and large walk-in closets. The common areas of each residence also include a cozy living room, large family room, and country-style kitchen. Residents can enjoy our large front porches or our private outdoor patio areas.

Our Hicks Memory Care residence at Chandler Hall has two goals: to make residents feel right at home and ensure they live in a safe, secure, calm and compassionate environment.

Hicks Residence is a comfortable, home-like setting for people with dementia, Alzheimer’s or cognitive impairment. We center our care on the needs of each individual, their history, achievements, family and love. We search for the best ways to connect with them through personal interactions, providing encouragement, and adapting to their changing needs as well as empower them to continue the connections with staff, family and other residents. We cherish each moment of joy, friendship, trust and understanding they give back to us and we ensure they remain safe and secure. We partner with our families to capture those unforgettable moments that happen through this journey of life.

Chandler Hall Friends Nursing Home for all of your Skilled Care Needs

The Quaker commitment to individual healing care continues since our opening of Friends Nursing Home in 1973. Our Friends Nursing Home provides short—and long-term skilled nursing care and rehabilitation for those needing 24-hour nursing care. We are committed to providing person-centered care and innovative state-of-the-art practices for our residents. Our 53-bed facility has private and semi-private rooms focused on health and healing. The skilled nursing team is comprised of a Medical Director, RNs, LPNs, NPs and CNAs, a Dietician, and a Social Worker. Our beds are both Medicare and Medicaid certified.

Joint Commission Certified Community Based Palliative Care Program for Those Facing Serious Illness

Chandler Hall is proud to offer “true” Palliative Care – a certified specialty of medical practice that aligns with your current treatments to relieve suffering from serious illness and treatment, whether it be physical, mental, emotional or spiritual pain. The community-based Palliative Care from Chandler Hall can provide the missing piece, to making the management of a complex or serious medical issue smoother, while keeping you at home and reducing the need for hospitalization.If you have a serious medical condition, need to recover from an acute stay in a hospital or are trying to manage a long term illness such as COPD, Parkinson’s Disease, dementia related illnesses, cardiac issues, liver disease, multiple sclerosis, ALS, chronic heart failure or cancer, we can help you get the most out of your treatments. We help coordinate care to make sure you and your family spend more time enjoying life together. We work to identify and manage any adverse side effects from care and treatments. Our investment in your care helps you to keep living your best possible life.

Chandler Hall’s Hospice Services Will Be There With You Through the Journey

Hospice is a philosophy of care for people of all ages in the last stages of a terminal illness. Chandler Hall began one of the area’s first and most comprehensive hospice programs in 1982. We provide holistic, personalized care to patients through our Hospice Program wherever “home” is for your loved one. Common terminal diseases may include cancer, end-stage cardiac disease, chronic pulmonary disease (COPD), Alzheimer’s disease, and neurological disorders. You will receive an interdisciplinary support team to help guide you through this difficult time. Medicare and most insurance cover the cost of Hospice Services.

Hospice does not hasten death. It supports end of life and recognizes dying as a normal process. The Hospice Program is designed for patients with a prognosis of less than six months. They are no longer receiving curative treatment as the goals of care have shifted to comfort and quality of life. Whenever possible, hospice patients stay in the familiar surroundings of their own homes. Hospice services may be provided in a nursing or residential setting.
